Information reported confidentially will be reviewed as part of the Office of the Attorney General's investigation into possible bid-rigging, price-fixing and other anti-competitive business practices by insurance companies and brokers. the Attorney General's investigation responds to a nationwide scandal involving allegedly hidden payments from insurers to brokers for bringing in business and use of phony bids to deceive clients into thinking they are buying coverage at competitive prices.
